The NRL have today released a statement confirming that the Eels have satisfactorily completed the core governance changes recommended by an independent review and will not be docked any competition points.

The NRL said today that the Parramatta Eels had satisfactorily completed the core governance changes recommended by an independent review.

Head of Integrity Nick Weeks said that, based on the work undertaken by the club, the Parramatta Eels will not be docked any competition points prior to the start of the Telstra Premiership.

“Both the NRL and the Eels believe these governance changes will help the club become more stable and, ultimately, more successful and that is what the fans and members want to see.”
