State of play
The Roosters have the most work of any club to do on November 1, with just 11 players signed for 2028.
Sam Walker's now looming departure will free up yet more money, and while it's believed they are about to re-sign Salesi Foketi, and James Tedesco will play on for an extra year, they still could lose Victor Radley and Billy Smith.
The club have been linked to a long list of elite talent, and while Ethan Strange and Tom Dearden have both poured cold water on the idea of replacing Sam Walker, all of Stefano Utoikamanu, Herbie Farnworth and Cooper Bai could be Bondi-bound.
Jordan riki is contracted only up to 2027, not 2028
