Parramatta forward Tepai Moeroa has accepted a three-match ban for a grade three shoulder charge on Knights forward Chris Heighington on Saturday night.

Moeroa took the early guilty plea and will have 75 carryover points after he misses games against the Cowboys, Rabbitohs and Dragons.

Manly’s Jack Gosiewski will also miss two matches for a shoulder charge on North Queensland star Jonathan Thurston.

Gosiewski entered a no contest plea to serve his two-game ban, given he’s expected to miss more than two weeks with a broken arm.

  1. It’s no penalty at all considering he’ll miss much longer with a broken arm. To me, it’s a dog shot considering that Thurston had passed the ball, had relaxed and considering where Gosiewski came from.

    • Wasn’t good in slow mo. But i doubt the Manly player really went to hurt him. He is a fringe Manly player and just trying to make his mark on the big stage. I’m sure he will regret it and hopefully we can all move on soon.
