The Melbourne Storm have hit the track for the final time in Melbourne before they fly to Sydney in preparation for Sunday’s 2016 NRL Grand Final.

Melbourne hosted an open training session for fans and members on Wednesday morning, with at least 600-700 people attending the session.

Dale Finucane was a notable absentee, although the Storm are very confident the lock will front up and take the field in the decider.

The Storm made the trip to Sydney on Wednesday afternoon and will front up for the big media conference at the Opera house on Thursday.

Here are some photos from today’s open training session.

  1. they are a boring lot this team .. but when sharks belt them we wont be hearing from ronald the clown anymore …believe that 3

    • I don’t know who Ronald the clown unless he is your brother however the Sharks could win the premiership every year for a decade and it still wouldn’t make them a decent club.

      • Something really bad must have happened to you as a young kid in Cronulla!!!Let go of the hate mate, it will consume you. By the way UP UP CRONULLA

      • Ronald “unemployed” McDonald. Loving all your posts at 4:00pm. A fine specimen of a gentleman like yourself can’t hold down a meaningful job. Surprise surprise loser.

    • Believethis you muppet, nothing boring about watching the Storm mopping the floor with every other team in the competion and winning our fifth premiership will bring nothing but joy

      • ronald mcdonald you clown we all know when the sharks win we wont hear from you till next season with all excuses and dribble like always you stooge …believe that

      • The fact that they are one of the two teams left in the comp is a pretty good indication that they are one of the two best teams.

        • They came 3rd in the season, a pretty good indicator of who was really second best and the source of my reference. Getting to the big dance is too full of distortions and bias to be such an indicator.

        • If making the big dance doesn’t count as being one of the two best teams in the comp, does that mean that the Cowboys last year weren’t one of the two best teams (made the GF and won from third) and Souths the year before (made the GF and won from third)?
News flash Ronnie, it’s not the EPL. The two best teams are the teams that make the GF. Even if it is the Sharks.

Very good point. If the Sharks win that will be 3 straight years the premiers will have come from 3rd! Perhaps that will be an better indicator going forward.

  2. >>> ATTENTION ALL <<<

I've decided to celebrate GF day in style!! We are going to have a BON VOYAGE ronald-m or believethis PARTY!!
I have challenged both to a loser leaves town deal.

STORM win and Bon Voyage Harold Holt (believethis), SHARKS win and Bon Voyage Ronald McDonald (ronald-m)

    • As per a previous post, maybe he is a Sharks supporter after all, or maybe he was a Manly supporter when they were winning, so this year he’s a Sharks supporter. Either way, he hates Parra, and yeah, yeah, yeah, I’ll say it before anyone else, “if he only ever follows winning teams, he’ll never be a Parra supporter” etc etc.

But if that theory is correct, him following whoever is winning, you’re lucky you’re new to this site, because heres a thought that will give you nightmares, he could have been a Bunnies supporter a couple of years ago.

      Sorry, couldn’t help myself.

      • I do have a membership for Souths if that is what you refer but then again, I have been a Parra supporter in the not too distant past.

        • ronald-m

“I do have a membership for Souths”

Sorry buddy but Souths don’t need the money that bad. Time join a new club I think. Anyone else want to volunteer theirs?

And ronald-m perhaps you should just pick a club and stick to them, others here seem to.

So are you going to have a go at just sticking to the other 14 teams in the competition and leave out the Storm and the Sharks? Any chance of a rational intelligent discussion of the facts on the horizon?
