The Melbourne Storm has announced their full playing roster for the 2019 season.
After being granted an early release from Cronulla, Fijian Isaac Lumelume comes to Melbourne. The 21-year-old has scored four tries in eight Canterbury Cup appearances for the Newtown Jets this season and had represented NSW in junior competitions.
Cooper Johns joins the senior list after being apart of the development squad since the start of 2018. He had been credited with 14 try assists and eight line breaks in 12 matches for the Sunshine Coast Falcons this past season.
Another Falcons player, front-rower Darryn Schonig signed to the Storm which further emphasises the pathways made available from the feeder clubs at Melbourne.
24-year-old Aaron Pene, who played for the Central Capras of the Intrust Super Cup in 2019, has signed on through a developmental contract. He averaged 142 metres per game and has tallied 46 tackle breaks in his 14 appearances.
All four players have been signed through the 2020 season.
