The Parramatta Eels have released a statement on www.parraeels.com.au, regarding Kane Evans, relating to an alleged racial slur incident from the weekend.
"NSW Rugby League has withdrawn charges against Kane Evans for an alleged incident during Saturday's NSW Cup game against the Warriors.
"The Parramatta Eels Club will not make any further comment as the matter is now closed."
The Eels seem to want this whole thing over and done with as they look to take no further action and make no further comment on the matter.
