North Queensland has confirmed they will farewell eight players at the upcoming Annual Presentation Night next Wednesday.
The Cowboys will say goodbye to players including Matt Scott and Scott Bolton, with the pair calling time on their careers.
Scott played 268 games for the Cowboys, and was the club's co-captain during their 2015 premiership.
Bolton finished his career with 246 appearances, and is fourth behind Johnathan Thurston, Matt Bowen and Scott for games played.
Jordan Kahu, Javid Bowen, Gideon Gela-Mosby Enari Tuala, Kurt Baptiste and Carlin Anderson will also leave the club.
A clear out at the Cowboys is to be expected however the man who really needs to leave is still there.
Gela-Mosby was going to be the next big thing , coming through the lower grades.
He messed up a few times ,last time in first grade on the wing. However, isn’t he actually a centre? May well be worth another try by some NRL club. Still has plenty of pace. Especially as he would be fairly cheap now.
