The Broncos have signed Rabbitohs prop Rhys Kennedy.

The 24-year old joins Brisbane effective immediately after being released by South Sydney and has been signed through until the end of the 2020 season.

Kennedy started his career on Melbourne's squad before joining the Raiders and then moving on to the Rabbitohs.

He made his NRL until this season in round three this season and played against the Panthers last round.

At 198cm, Kennedy becomes the tallest player on Brisbane's squad, also boasting a 110 kilogram frame.
