Issac Luke’s future is no longer up in the air.

The New Zealand Warriors have confirmed that the hooker will remain with the side for the 2019 season, according to the NZ Herald.

There had been reports that Parramatta were interested in signing him, but Luke was said to be happy in Auckland with the club also being impressed with pre-season performances.

Luke’s contract has been altered to reflect the club’s decision to keep him on.

A clause has been removed that had the ability to trigger an early release this year.

Luke has played 66 games for the Warriors since moving from South Sydney at the start of the 2016 season, scoring 10 tries.
