Anthony Milford will undergo a period of rehabilitation after scan results of his injured shoulder were reviewed this morning.

While his injury does not require an operation at this time, Milford is expected to have six weeks of rest before he is able to take the field again.

Milford was seen by specialist Dr Peter Rowan this morning.

โ€œAnthony will not require surgery at this point and will undertake a period of six weeks of rehabilitation,โ€ said Broncosโ€™ High Performance Manager Jeremy Hickmans.

โ€œAt this moment it is not a season-ending injury, and he will be re-assessed when that rehabilitation period is over.โ€

There were no other injury problems for the Broncos out of Friday's victory over the Rabbitohs.

In other injury news from the weekend, backup halfback Todd Murphy suffered a broken collarbone playing for the Norths Devils against Ipswich on Saturday.

David Mead has a rib problem but is expected to be fit to play for Wynnum Seagulls in the Intrust Super Cup this weekend.
