Newcastle's Edrick Lee is set for a lengthy stint on the sidelines after suffering a suspected broken arm in the club' win over the Broncos.

Lee hurt himself in the first half and amazingly scored a diving try in the ninth minute despite the injury.

“We lost Eddie with a broken arm, we’ll just have to work with what we’ve got there,” Knights coach Nathan Brown told reporters.

“It was really early apprently, he scored one and played on for a while and then we sent the message on to get him off.”

Brisbane's Richie Kennar went down in the same game with a shoulder issue.

In further injury news, North Queensland's Michael Morgan is in doubt for Origin II after failing a HIA in his side’s clash with the Dragons.

Morgan went off in the second half of the contest and did not return with concussion.

It could cause issues for Kevin Walters, who will name his Queensland line-up on Monday.
