St George Illawarra prop James Graham has labelled NSW Blues youngster Payne Haas as "probably the best athlete in all of world sport right now."
The 19-year-old is set to make his Origin debut for NSW tonight, even though he has only played 10 senior NRL games.
Appearing on NRL 360, Graham spoke admirably about the Broncos prop.
“I think hes an unbelievable athlete, probably the best teenage athlete in all of world sport right now. And I don’t say that lightly," Graham said.
“ I had a bit of a look today and there's a guy who plays college basketball, but not proven at the top level.
“There’s guy that captains Ajax and I think Payne Haas is just something else.
“His conditioning is so good, I hope our game can keep him in the years to come.”
