The Penrith Panthers have created history once by claiming their fourth consecutive NRL Premiership and solidifying themselves as one of the greatest teams of all time.
In a magnificent match between the two teams and a game that will be remembered forever in history, the Panthers have farewelled Jarome Luai, James Fisher-Harris and Sunia Turuva in the best way possible as they become the latest players to depart the club.

LINE BREAK - Ryan Papenhuyzen runs down the short side, which sees him link up with Xavier Coates. However, they struggled to find any open space with Tago coming to the rescue with a brilliant tackle.

HELD UP - Jack Howarth is held up over the line after Xavier Coates leapt over Brian To'o to keep the ball in play. With the call going up to the video referee, the Storm players started celebrating when they thought he got the ball down on the replays.

TRY -Â Sunia Turuva scores. In his final match for the club before leaving for the Wests Tigers, the Fijian flyer is at the end of a magnificent play by the defending premiers, which involved going through the hands of Nathan Cleary and Jarome Luai.

TRY -Â Harry Grant scores. The crafty hooker managed to break through Penrith's defence and break through tackles from James Fisher-Harris and Liam Martin to cross the line and give the Storm the early lead.

DROP OUT -Â The Panthers force a drop out after some great thinking from Izack Tago. The centre originally had a two-on-one but some cover defence saw him put a grubber into the in-goal with Brian To'o pressuring.

The 2024 NRL Grand Final is approaching the 20-minute mark, with the game being played incredibly quickly and full of intensity. It already feels like an all-time classic and scores remain level and we haven't even hit half-time yet!

KNOCK ON - Back-to-back knock-on's from both sides, which have now ended with the Panthers being awarded a penalty.
The Storm got within 10 metres of their try line but were unable to convert their opportunities into any points and looked flustered in the attacking line. 2024 Dally M Medallist Jahrome Hughes has yet to fully introduce himself into the match.

LINE BREAK -Â In his final match in Penrith colours Jarome Luai is already causing havoc for the Melbourne defenders. Signing an estimated $6 million contract with the Wests Tigers, he has gotten off to a terrific start as he looks to end his club career with his fourth title.

PENALTY -Â The Storm are awarded the first penalty of the match but the Penrith are in full control of this match so far on both ends of the field.
Storm winger Will Warbrick was driven back 20 metres by four Penrith defenders in the second set of the match as both teams have shook off the nerves.
