Five players have been charged by the match review committee following the St George Illawarra Dragons 54-8 win over the Gold Coast Titans on Sunday.

Dragons duo Leeson Ah Mau and Tariq Sims were both charged for grade one careless high tackles in the first half on Ryan James and Ash Taylor respectively.

Both players will be fined but won't miss any games no matter their decision regarding the charges.

Titans forward Ryan James was charged with dangerous contact on Ben Hunt and will be free to play in Round 4 if he takes the early guilty plea.

Titans halfback Ashley Taylor will cop a fine of $1,100 after being charged with tripping on Dragons five-eighth Gareth Widdop.

While young Titans prop Keegan Hipgrave could miss a week with a prior offence pushing him over the one week mark after being charged dangerous contact to the head/neck.

The Titans have until midday tomorrow to enter their plea.
