Wests Tigers veteran Robbie Farah has been granted permission to attend the Champions League final in Madrid this weekend between EPL heavyweights Liverpool and Tottenham, as reported by the Sydney Herald.

Given the Tigers have the week off with the bye, the 35-year old didn't want to miss the opportunity to watch Liverpool, who he is an avid fan of.

It is understood that Farah was allowed to go under the condition that he make it back for training on Monday, less than 24 hours after the showcase clash (5am Sunday morning AEST).

The Tigers respected Farah's wish due to his professionalism and to allow him a chance to freshen up.

Farah took to social media to express his excitement about attending the match.

The Tigers' next match is against Canberra at Bankwest Stadium on June 7.
