The St George Illawarra Dragons are looking to move on up to four players as the NRL's biggest roster rebuild continues.
The Dragons have already locked up the signatures of Kodi Nikorima, Scott Drinkwater, Phillip Sami, Luke Metcalf, Phillip Sami and Keaon Koloamatangi and Connor Watson for next year.
That is joined by a number of confirmed losses in the shape of Damien Cook, Mathew Feagai, Nathan Lawson, Tyrell Sloan and Jaydn Su'A, while it's also widely believed that Luciano Leilua is on the way out alongside Blake Lawrie.
But the Red V, with most of their recruitment done for 2027, are now turning their attention towards November 1, and potentially more immediate departures.
News Corp are reporting the quartet on Clint Gutherson, Daniel Atkinson, Kyle Flanagan and Moses Suli are all on the chopping block if they can find new clubs prior to 2027 getting underway.
Gutherson has been the club's fullback since arriving, and has found form in recent weeks, but the arrival of Gutherson makes his position in the side on a weekly basis questionable at best.
It has been theorised that he could play centre, but otherwise, he would likely become a very expensive bench super sub.
Gutherson, on his part, doesn't want to leave, with it being reported that he wants to see out the final 12 months of his contract regardless of role.
Suli is the other player to deny he wants out, telling ESPN that he has plans to fight for his Dragons jersey, saying it was tough to be given permission to negotiate earlier this year.
"It was kind of tough," Suli told ESPN.
"I was injured and playing inconsistent footy, and then it was kind of hard getting told that I was given permission to leave the club.
"But knowing it was home time and going home to see my daughter was probably a better feeling. Seeing her smile brings joy to me. She's my life, she's everything to me and I'll do anything for her."
Suli is believed to have interest in his services alongside Atkinson at this stage, with the former Shark also on the outside looking in once Metcalf and Atkinson arrive.
It's not clear if there is any current interest in Gutherson or Flanagan.
The Dragons have come under plenty of fire this year for their lack of point-scoring, with Flanagan and Atkinson, now both on the chopping block, at the centre of that.
