Three Sydney Roosters players have learned their fate from MRC, with Daly Cherry-Evans headlining the list after Saturday night's 46-10 semi-final demolition of the Cronulla Sharks.
Lindsay Collins was the first player cited, with a Grade 1 dangerous contact charge for an incident in the 17th minute.
Collins was put on report after tackling Sharks fullback William Kennedy.
Referee Adam Gee blew his whistle after the tackle, giving the Sharks a penalty.
Outside back Billy Smith received the same charge for a tackle in the 34th minute of the game after making contact on Sharks forward Siosifa Talakai.
Both players face identical fines as first-time offenders. They will receive $1,000 for an early plea, $1,500 if they challenge and lose.
Daly Cherry-Evans' trip on Sharks backrower Teig Wilton came in the 60th minute of the game.
The veteran halfback threw his right leg out to stop Teig Wilton from getting past him.
The Bunker quickly stated the incident was a reportable offence.
“Daly extends the leg in an unnatural action, so this is a penalty and is on report,” the official in the Bunker said.
The Match Review Committee ultimately charged Cherry-Evans with his first offence, a $1,000 fine.
Crucially, none of the three charges carries a suspension, which leaves all three players free to play against the Dolphins in Friday's preliminary final, provided they accept their fines.
