The Cronulla Sharks have announced the signing of experienced rugby league administrator Phil Moss as their new General Manager of Football.
Moss was Football Manager at the Sharks during their 2016 premiership success, before taking up a similar role at the Gold Coast Titans in 2018.
Moss previously worked in a senior football management role with the Parramatta Eels, before moving to the Wests Tigers and then the Penrith Panthers.
He will begin his work at the Sharks on May 20.
A positive appointment and a step in the right direction but I would have thought that the first priority would have been to reinstate those back office staff they sacked just before Christmas. Perhaps I am wrong and they have already done that ?
Hopefully they can rekindle some of that premiership success together again.
No marldon, they were not required and hence made redundant.
What happened to your Storm on the weekend? Couldn’t beat the Sharks missing four internationals plus another couple of players! The two Cameron’s having a lovers tiff at the full-time siren, there’s problem’s brewing down South…..
