The Broncos have made James Segeyaro's signing official, who is set to train with the club for the first time today.

The hooker has been brought in as back-up to both Andrew McCullough and Jake Turpin.

McCullough is currently on the injury list with a medial ligament problem that is set to keep him out for another month.

"I am really looking forward to being part of the Broncos' club," Segeyaro told broncos.com.au.

"The Broncos are a proud club and I am focused on working hard now to gain an opportunity.

"I can't wait to get out there on the training field with my new teammates."

The 28-year-old has played 141 NRL games for the Sharks, Panthers and Cowboys and represented Papua New Guinea on five occasions.
