The Broncos have been forced into a late change for Friday night's big Elimination Final - but it is one they can cover.

Centre Tom Opacic is out with a shoulder injury for the 'do-or-die' clash with the Gold Coast Titans at Suncorp Stadium.

Opacic injured his shoulder two weeks ago but it has not improved enough this week for him to play in the high-stakes match.

The Broncos have a ready-made replacement in Kiwi international Jordan Kahu, who will slot in from the wing to his preferred position of centre.

Youngster Jonus Pearson will come onto the wing.
