The Brisbane Broncos have confirmed seven departures from the club ahead of the 2027 season.
Six of the seven players had already been confirmed as leaving Red Hill, with three of those players taking part in the club's lap of honour during Thursday night's home game.
Adam Reynolds, Jesse Arthars and Corey Jensen were among those to take part in the farewell proceedings, while Payne Haas, Gehamat Shibasaki and Grant Anderson have also been confirmed as departing the Broncos but did not appear in the lap as they prepared to take the field for one last time at home.
Off-contract Delouise Hoeter joined the departing lap, now confirmed as a departure despite not yet having a new club lined up.
Reynolds will retire from the NRL at the end of the season after an illustrious career, including captaining the Broncos to the 2025 NRL Grand Final.
Arthars will continue his career in France after agreeing to a two-year deal with the Catalans Dragons.
Jensen, meanwhile, will medically retire after suffering blood clot issues in his lung.
Haas will make the move to the South Sydney Rabbitohs on a three-year contract, marking one of the largest contract bombshells in recent history.
As first revealed by Zero Tackle, Shibasaki will join the Perth Bears on a two-year contract, understood to be worth around $1 million across the two seasons.
Anderson departed the Broncos after just one season, joining the New Zealand Warriors on a three-year contract as part of a player swap involving Warriors prop Mitch Barnett. Barnett will join the Broncos on a three-year deal.
Hoeter's future remains less clear. The forward suffered a broken leg in April and has been sidelined since.
His career has already been impacted by significant injury, with Hoeter previously spending 2475 days on the sidelines before making his return to the Broncos in 2022.
It remains unclear whether Hoeter will continue his playing career or where he could land next.
While the Broncos have confirmed seven departures, three players remain off-contract for 2027 without yet being confirmed as leaving the club.
Jack Gosiewski is one of those players, with no current understanding of where his future could lie beyond the 2026 season.
Jaiyden Hunt is also off-contract, although there have been whispers linking him with the Canberra Raiders on a potential two-year deal.
Josh Rogers rounds out the list of Broncos players without a confirmed contract for next season, with no current understanding of his potential next move.
The Broncos will therefore have further decisions to make around their roster as they continue preparations for the 2027 season and introduce Barnett, Shawn Blore, Dane Gagai and Jonah Pezet into next year's squad.
