3. North Queensland Cowboys - Johnathan Thurston
He only retired in 2018, but JT would still be a massive retiree at the two-day event. He’s been out of the game for over a year but could easily pinch the ‘Player of the Tournament’ title with a few of his trademark show-and-goes.
Don’t think Minichello will want anything to do with playing anymore after the hiding Ben Teo gave him in 2014 to farewell him.

No disrespect to Thurston, but I’d have Matty Bowen for NQ for sure. He’d be a sensation in nines.
