7. Reed Mahoney

The second 22-year-old on the list, JUST pips his Sharks rival on the back of a season that saw him enter very real Origin bolter talks.

Mahoney made 968 tackles at over 93% completion while also scoring three tries, assisting three and laying on four line break assists.

His running game will come, but given the arsenal in the halves at at fullback, he can be forgiven for relying on his excellent service from dummy half.
