  1. Prisoner!!!!!! That Melbourne team would win the next 20 Wooden Spoons Mate. Just goes to show how Melbourne have got no depth. Totally useless those names. Does any of the players chosen know what NRL is? 😎

    • I’ll tell you what @woodchook the player on this storm side that is an absolute gun is there number 6, Scotty Drinkwater. He is an absolute weapon, if Brodie Croft happened to not be at Melbourne he’d definitely be in the running for the halfback role on the NRL side. I used to play with him for the Central Coast a few years back and he was easily the best half running around in any age group near ours. Big future

      • I’ve seen Billy Walters run around a fair bit when at East Tigers, kid can play. If half as good as his Dad he will go alright

        • Haven’t seen Walters have a run yet, I usually watch some of the Sunshine Coast Falcons games, but from what I’ve heard he’s a real good young half

    • No Depth? We named a 21 man squad that will go to 17 for Friday, only one of them is playing this game. So guys who aren’t playing over the weekend, Ryley Jacks, Big Sam, Stimson, Hughes, Blair and Youngy. Also,Fus, Drinkwater, Ryan Papenhuyzen, Harry Grant, Walter and Timms will be very good players in the near future. No issues with Depth!

      • Well I recon melbournepurplehaze Just about every teams got 21 players of first grade standard but is Croft a first grader? He kicks a winning field goal against the Cowgirls and scored three tries against the three time wooden spooners Newcastle and he gets immortal status. He has played 5 NRL games. We will find out soon enough if he is up for the big jump in grade. If not then Melbourns have only 20 players. But still no halfback who knows the riggers of the NRL.
