Melbourne will be without Origin forward Christian Welch for the remainder of the 2019 season, after he suffered an ACL injury during his side's big win over Brisbane on Friday night.
Welch narrowly avoided an ACL injury earlier this year which then allowed him to make his Origin debut for the Maroons, although he wasn't as lucky this time around, with the club confirming the news on Saturday morning.

Scans this morning have unfortunately confirmed that Christian Welch has ruptured his ACL in his right knee.
