While most people believe the choice to replace injured Blues backrower Boyd Corder is between Tyson Frizell or Wade Graham, NSW coach Laurie Daley has thrown another hat into the ring.

Speaking on NRL 360, NSW Blues coach Laurie Daley added veteran Ryan Hoffman's name to the list of potential replacements.

“Obviously we need a replacement for Boyd — Boyd was our players’ player and I thought deservedly so,” Daley said.

“He is a massive loss, he is a leader in our team.

“The obvious guys are Wade Graham who plays left edge, Tyson Frizell who has been in there for the last couple of years and can play left or right.

“Ryan Hoffman is a guy who brings plenty of experience, was unlucky to miss out in game one."
