The 2018 premiership-winning
Sydney Roosters have seen their side rewarded for a superb season once again, with six players chosen in the World XIII.
The 2018 World XIII was chosen by 11 journalists and a vote from website TotalRL.com, with each journalist asked to give their five top players in each position, with five points to go to the player they believe were the best in their position, and one point to the man they named in fifth.
Boyd Cordner, James Tedesco, Joseph Manu, Latrell Mitchell, Cooper Cronk and Luke Keary were selected in the side, with seven Australians in the team all up.
Joining Cordner, Tedesco, Mitchell, Cronk and Keary from the green and gold were
Valentine Holmes and Damien Cook, with the pair impressing over the 2018 season.
Manu was the only Kiwi in the side, as NRL enforcers
Andrew Fifita and Jason Taumalolo represented Tonga in the side.
Three Englishmen made the cut, with
Tommy Makinson, Luke Thompson and Elliott Whitehead representing their country in the XIII.
