The Sydney Roosters have reportedly shown interest in off-contract fullback Jake Mamo, who is seeking a return to the NRL this next season.

The Roosters are interested in bringing in Mamo and shifting him to the wing position to fit in with the team's lineup, according to Inside Sport.

The  23-year-old has spent the last year in the Super League playing with the Giants and playing quite impressively, scoring 12 tries in nine appearances, however his form has dipped this season with Huddersfield and may be looking for new scenery.

Inside Sport has also reported that Mamo is weighing up his options elsewhere, as he wishes to leave Huddersfield.

Castelford has also been linked to the off-contract fullback, so he is certainly in-demand.

Mamo first played in the NRL in 2014 with Newcastle, but has not played in the league since 2016.
