Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett has one year remaining on his contract with the Broncos, although he's already looking towards the 2020 season, with reports from The Australian suggesting he's been offered to the Tigers and a replacement for Ivan Cleary.

With 2019 set to be his final season at Red Hill, Bennett has been offered to the Tigers to take over from Cleary, who is expected to take up the position at Penrith to coach son Nathan.

Cleary has two years remaining on his current deal, but if the Tigers are to go after Bennett, it could see the club release Cleary at the end of next season, which could see him link up with the Panthers once again in 2020.

The Tigers are interested in signing a coach of Bennett's calibre, with the veteran mentor having over 30 years of experience and seven premierships under his belt.

With Cleary expected to take up Penrith's offer, the Tigers have two years before his deal runs out to find his replacement, although with a number of talented coaches on the market, they'll be looking to make their decision sooner rather than later.

Michael Maguire is another coach on the market who the Tigers could pursue, although he's a chance to replace Trent Barrett at Manly.

However, Maguire is reportedly interested in the Broncos' vacant position, which Fox Sports believe is his preferred destination.

Brisbane have also been linked with Souths boss Anthony Seibold, who has one year to run on his current deal, but hasn't agreed an extension beyond the 2019 season.
