The teams are in for Round 24 of the NRL season, with injuries again rearing their head, while a number of stars are also back.
The Penrith Panthers are maybe the biggest watch on the injury front with Isaah Yeo out, but it's the returns around the competition, as well as the axing of Corey Horsburgh at the Canberra Raiders, which set the biggest talking points this week.

Penrith Panthers
- Jack Cogger is named to return at five-eighth after missing last weekend's loss to the Warriors due to childbirth. Jack Cole drops to the bench.
- Lindsay Smith moves to lock to replace the injured Isaah Yeo, with Liam Henry to start at prop. This is how Penrith handled Yeo's absence during the Origin period.
- Dylan Edwards is a chance of playing, named on the reserves list by Ivan Cleary.
Sydney Roosters
- James Tedesco returns from concussion at fullback, pushing Cody Ramsey to the bench.
- Spencer Leniu starts at prop, with Nat Butcher back to the bench.
- Rex Bassingthwaighte drops out of the side.
Manly Sea Eagles
- Blake Wilson drops out of the side. Clayton Faulalo returns at fullback, with Lehi Hopoate sliding to the wing. There is no sign of Tom Trbojevic.
- Taniela Paseka is set to miss at least the next fortnight injured. Nathan Brown, approaching the end of his time in the NRL, moves to prop.
- Hugo Hart is the new man on the bench for Manly.
The Dolphins
- Kurt Donoghoe is set to miss a couple of weeks with injury, so the Dolphins bring Ray Stone back onto the bench, while Jake Averillo also replaces Brian Pouniu in an otherwise unchanged side.
Canterbury Bulldogs
- Alexolasimi Jones replaces the injured Sitili Tupouniua in an otherwise unchanged Bulldogs line up.
South Sydney Rabbitohs
- Jye Gray drops back to the bench, with Campbell Graham coming in on the wing.
- Ashton Ward's season is over, so Jayden Sullivan will have plenty of opportunities to the end of the season at halfback.
- Jamie Humphreys is out injured, with Thomas Fletcher and Moala Graham-Taufa also missing. Euan Aitken, Peter Mamouzelos and Ed Kosi are the new names.

Cronulla Sharks
- KL Iro returns for the injured Jesse Ramien, with Mawene Hiroti hanging onto the other centre spot ahead of Michael Gabrael.
- Addin Fonua-Blake is out suspended, so Oregon Kaufusi comes into the starting side
- Siosifa Talakai returns on the bench as the new name.
Canberra Raiders
- Savelio Tamale comes back into the Raiders side for Simi Sasagi who, as flagged by Ricky Stuart after the loss to Newcastle, will be rested.
- Corey Horsburgh has been dropped after Stuart gave him a spray int he press conference after the Knights game. Ata Mariota, who is the future, starts at prop, with Matty Nicholson coming into the second-row.
- Owen Pattie starts at hooker with Tom Starling sliding back to the bench.
- Vena Patuki-Case and Sebastian Kris are the new names on the bench given the promotions of Tamale and Nicholson.
Parramatta Eels
- Apa Twidle takes over at fullback from Isaiah Iongi whose season is over.
- Sam Tuivaiti is out, with Junior Paulo returning to the starting side at prop, while Ryley Smith drops out of the side, with Tallyn Da Silva starting at dummy half.
- Dylan Walker comes back into the side on the bench, with Sean Russell also named.
North Queensland Cowboys
- Reed Mahoney is back for the Gold Coast, sending Soni Luke back to the bench. Matthew Lodge is the player to make way.
Brisbane Broncos
- Just the one change for Brisbane with Aublix Tawha replacing Gehamat Shibasaki on the bench.
- No Adam Reynolds, and Brisbane have also confirmed Cory Paix's season is over.
New Zealand Warriors
- The Warriors have only made a change on the bench, with Morgan Gannon out and Demitric Vaimauga back.
Newcastle Knights
- Bradman Best comes in at centre, with Fletcher Hunt knocked back to the bench.
- Phoenix Crossland returns to the starting side at hooker, with Harrison Graham back to the bench.
- Pasami Saulo is on the bench, with Brodie Jones, Toby Winter and Diesel Hagan out.
Gold Coast Titans
- AJ Brimson returns to the centres for the Titans, sending Jaylan De Groot back to the bench.
- Lachlan Ilias, who was named to start last time out but slid back to the bench before kick-off, has been named at five-eighth.
- Oliver Pascoe has been named to return to the starting side ahead of Sam Verrills who remains on the bench.
- Arama Hau is out, with the Titans naming Bodhi Sharpley on the bench.
Wests Tigers
- Heamasi Makasini has been dropped out of the side again, with Solomone Saukuru added for Benji Marshall's side.
- Alex Seyfarth falls back to the bench, with Fonua Pole to start at prop. Tony Sukkar starts in the second-row with Sione Fainnu also sliding back to the bench.
- Bunty Afoa and Faaletino Tavana come in on the bench, with Starford To'a and Charlie Murray dropping out of the 19.
St George Illawarra Dragons
- Setu Tu comes back in on the wing, with Mathew Feagai back to the bench after the late swap last week.
- Damien Cook is named to start, with Jacob Liddle benched despite his huge 80 minutes against the Sharks.
- Toby Couchman returns on the bench, with Josh Kerr dropping out of the side.
