Corey Allan

South Sydney outside back Corey Allan has signed a three-year contract extension that will see him become a Rabbitoh until at least the end of the 2021 season.

The 20-year-old is yet to make his first grade debut, but has been a key member of Brisbane's under 20s squad over the past two seasons.

Allan represented the Junior Kangaroos in 2017, and was part of the Queensland Emerging Origin squad earlier this year.

Coach Anthony Seibold told rabbitohs.com.au, the club were thrilled to bring Allan on board, and believes he could be an important player come the 2019 season and beyond.

"Corey is a great, young talent who will join us with a great pedigree," Seibold said.

"He's been part of the Emerging Queensland squads for a number of years and played for the Junior Kangaroos a year young alongside Cameron Murray last season.

"He's stepped up to play against men for Souths Logan this year in the Queensland Cup competition and he's had a really strong start to the season.

"We see him having a future in our NRL back three and the challenge for Corey is to perform at a consistently high level going forward.

"We're really excited to have a young man with his talent joining our squad next season and we wish him the best of luck with the Broncos and Souths Logan for the remainder of 2018."
