The Penrith Panthers have granted Tom Eisenhuth and Oliver Clark immediate releases from their respective contracts with the club, allowing them to pursue opportunities elsewhere in the NRL.

"Tom and Oliver have both come through the Panthers development system," Panthers Executive General Manager Phil Gould AM said on the club's website.

"They are great kids with tremendous attitude to their football and training.

"If we can't provide our players with positions in the NRL, we have never stood in the way of them chasing their dreams and taking up NRL opportunities elsewhere.

"We wish Tom and Oliver the very best of luck and will follow their careers with great interest."

With the June 30 deadline approaching, clubs are looking to finalise their rosters for the second half of the season.

There have been rumours that the Panthers are also looking to bolster their lineup with a mid-season switch of their own, with reports that Manly forward Lloyd Perrett in their sights.

The release of Eisenhuth and Clark might be the catalyst to this transfer being signed off.

Earlier today, the Sharks announced the much-anticipated signing of Bulldogs forward Aaron Woods.
