- Tom Trbojevic (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles)
His return to first grade football coincided with Manlyโs first win of the season and coincidence, it was not. Set up two tries and scored another two of his own in a man of the match performance.
- Campbell Graham (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
The 19-year-old took advantage of his 6 ft 6in frame as he crossed for two tries against the Gold Coast on Sunday.
- Josh Morris (Cronulla Sharks)
Turned back the clock as he terrorised the Cowboys' defensive line in the second half. Scored two tries, broke a handful of tackles and ran for a total of 118 run metres.
- Euan Aitken (St. George Illawarra Dragons)
One of the better centres in the competition backed up his words against Brisbane with a number of strong runs. Recorded two line breaks, six tackle busts and ran for 145 metres with ball in hand.
- Maika Sivo (Parramatta Eels)
The best in a beaten team as he continues to look a more promising prospect with each passing week. Scored two tries and broke ten tackles on his way to 140 run metres.
- Corey Norman (St. George Illawarra Dragons)
Kicked the match winning field goal after Gareth Widdop left the field with an injury that has likely ended his NRL career. Norman controlled the contest with a strong kicking game, also laying on a try and recording 109 run metres.
- Daly Cherry-Evans (Manly Warringah Sea Eagles)
Was equally as influential on the contest as Tom Trbojevic as the Manly duo put the Warriors to the sword. Scored half of his sides points with two tries and seven goals and just as his fullback did, laid on two try assists.
- Dylan Napa (Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs)
Has so far succeeded in his move to the Dogs. Providing exactly what coach Dean Pay was looking for, the hulking prop crossed for a try, set up another, completed 30 tackles and ran for over 100 metres with ball in hand.
- Cameron McInnes (St. George Illawarra Dragons)
Controlled the ruck in a strong performance. Scored a try, set one up and earnt a try save against Brisbane. McInnes also completed over 45 tackles and ran for 94 metres from dummy-half.
- Jesse Bromwich (Melbourne Storm)
Has returned to the form this season that saw him touted as the world's best prop just several seasons ago. Scored his second try of the year in a 30-point victory over Penrith.
- John Bateman (Canberra Raiders)
Itโs always hard to judge whether or not an English player will succeed in the worldโs premier competition in the NRL. In this case, three rounds into the season, John Bateman has become one of the game's most inform forwards. At just 98 kilos, Bateman is one of the lightest forwards in the competition but runs like heโs the biggest. Against the Knights, Bateman ran for 190 run metres, broke ten tackles, recorded two line breaks and completed 41 tackles in a man of the match performance.
- Ethan Lowe (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
Had a standout cameo performance in the 30 minutes he spent on the field against the Titans. Scored a try, ran for 136 run metres and completed 28 tackles. Would still be a starting backrower if not for a falling out with his former coach.
- Dale Finucane (Melbourne Storm)
Surely 2019 is the year Dale Finucane finally cracks the representative arena? Was one of Melbourneโs best against the Panthers. Completed 34 tackles at an efficiency rate of 100% and ran for over 130 run metres.
