Newcastle cult hero Nathan Ross has been rushed to hospital with what is feared to be a fractured back he suffered during the 26-10 defeat of the Warriors.
Ross copped an accidental knee to his back while catching a bomb.

He immediately looked to be in serious pain, clutching at his back as trainers rushed onto the field.
Ross was then assisted from the field with the help of trainers, before being placed on a medicab when he reached the sidelines.
Ross was then taken to hospital for further assessment and scans.
Early reports suggest that he may have suffered a fractured back during the incident.
