Match Review Committee hands down Mahoney verdict

Eels hooker Reed Mahoney has been charged by the Match Review Committee for an incident in his side's win over North Queensland on Saturday.

Mahoney was charged with a Grade One Dangerous Throw on Cowboy’s Justin O’Neill, with a base penalty of 100 points. An early guilty plea will see Mahoney not miss any weeks for Parramatta.

Meanwhile, Eels forward Siosaia Vave was reported for his own incident on Saturday, but was not charged by the MRC.
