The Sydney Roosters have provided a judiciary report on centre Latrell Mitchell via their club website.

“Following the Sydney Roosters Round 25 match against the Parramatta Eels at ANZ Stadium, Latrell Mitchell has been cited by the NRL Match Review Committee,” the statement reads.

“Mitchell has received a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact charge for an incident that occurred in the 76th minute of the match on Eels player Clinton Gutherson.

“The base penalty for the charge is 100 points.

“Should the Club enter an Early Guilty Plea, Mitchell will receive 75 points and be available for selection in next week’s Qualifying Finals match.

  1. But Ofahengaue can slide into Tom Trbojevics head, knee’s first fracturing his eye socket and there no case to answer.
NRL says accidental contact and nobody says anything.
NRL as always shows its double standards to the world for all to see.

  2. Shouldn’t have been charged in the first place.
Sam Burgess gets away with everything. Corrupt nrl fixing the results as usual.
