They've already snared Cowboys young gun Kalyn Ponga, now the Knights reportedly have their sights set on uprooting North Queensland co-captain Matt Scott from Townsville.

And Cowboys star Michael Morgan concedes the potential exit of the representative prop would be a blow for a pack which has already lost a wealth of experience.

Fox Sports reported yesterday the Knights have begun early talks with the 31-year-old prop.
