Gold Coast Titans forward Jarrod Wallace has reportedly met with Newcastle Knights coach Nathan Brown and their head of football Darren Mooney earlier this week to discuss his playing future, according to theherald.com.au.

The pending free agent was treated to a tour of the club's facilities at Mayfield and later discussed contract negotiations with team officials.

He is the second Queensland Maroons forward who has been connected in some way to Newcastle this season.

Melbourne's Tim Glasby has also toured the Knights' facilities.

According to the Newcastle Herald, Mooney confirmed that Wallace had made the flight to Newcastle to discuss potential contract terms, however he did not disclose the negotiations of either side.

The 26-year-old veteran was recently offered a four-year $2 million deal by the Gold Coast Titans, but continues to entertain his options at this stage of his pending free agency.
