South Sydney pair Cody Walker and Dane Gagai have been charged with grade one contrary conduct charges on Manly's Jack Gosiewski, although the pair will be free to play the Raiders next weekend.

Walker and Gagai were hit with the charges from a melee during Friday night's game, and will need to pay $1,150 each if they enter an early guilty plea.

Manly's Brad Parker was also fined during the Sea Eagles' loss, and has been hit with a grade one tripping charge, which will cost him $1,700 for an early guilty plea.

  1. The old MRC of 2 weeks ago would have pushed for a grade 2 reckless and looking at 2 weeks each.
Getting closer to an even playing field after the massive fan outcry with the leniency afforded the roosters on and off the field all year.
Great to see the game’s no 1 cheap shot thug Hargreaves wont be there next week attempting to mame the opposition and good chance to get away with it.

    Go the mighty Parramatta !!

  3. Everybody hates a person who thinks he is oh so tough when he is not. Dylan Walker, another ex Souths big mouth who plays with Manly got smacked in the chops last year and that stopped him.

The sooner sombebody gives it to Cody Walker the better. Just a deadset annoyance to our great game. The Coonabarabran white bloke who thinks he is 100% indigenous has a massive chip on his shoulder.
