Canberra have released a statement on their website after news broke on Wednesday morning surrounding an incident involving fullback Jack Wighton.

Wighton faced the ACT Magistrates Court following an incident in February, and will plead not guilty to all nine charges.

The Raiders released the following statement on raiders.com.au.

Canberra Raiders player Jack Wighton will face ACT Magistrates Court again in July, after pleading Not Guilty today to charges laid against him following an incident in Canberra in February.

The Club will allow Wighton to continue to train and play with the club during this period. As the matter is before the court the Raiders will not be making any further comment on the issue.

  1. No norman please. Cotric to FB croker to wing Austin to centre whighton to Mounties. Nuf said.
I’m sure Josh dugan had a mate that invented a time machine and and travelled to the movie set of “John woo’s face off” and placed himself on the operating table and swapped faces with Josh so as to create a replicant of doogs so he could travel back in time to right the wrongs he did. Only prob was doogs escaped and returned to raiders as the now known Jack whighton and is the worst fullback ever and running amok, where the real Jack whighton is at sharks and is actually saying out of trouble. Only problem is that the time nerds real name is Mr Glass and was never built to play top grade

Wednesday. No footy so I have to keep my mind occupied.
