Young Newcastle fullback Nick Meaney has committed to the Canterbury Bulldogs for the next three years.

The 20-year-old was the Knights’ Player of the Year in the NYC and NSW Cup for the past two years, and was slected in the NSW Residents squad in 2017, as well as playing for the NSW U20’s during Origin.

Meaney will join the Dogs at the start of the 2019 season, and will come to the club alongside teammate Jack Cogger, who signed back in January.

Cogger will join on a two-year deal.

  1. Good luck mate. He’ll do well for the dogs. With Ponga ahead of him it was always going to be hard to get a run.
