Brisbane hooker Andrew McCullough will miss at least the next month of football after suffering an elbow injury in the Broncos' loss to the Storm on Friday night.

Scans on Saturday confirmed the extent of his injury, with McCullough suffering medial ligament damage.

"In good news, all tendons are intact and there are no fractures in his arm," Brisbane High Performance Manager Jeremy Hickmans told broncos.com.au.

"While there is some muscle damage, it is secondary to the ligament damage.

"With an injury of this type he is expected to return to the field in four to six weeks."
