Former Penrith Panthers five-eighth Jamies Soward has announced his retirement from rugby league.
"Thanks for having me in the game. I couldn't have wished for more in my career. Next chapter to start ASAP. Looking for work." he said on social media platform Twitter.
The 31-year-old finished with 215 NRL appearances after debuting for the Roosters in 2005. During his impressive career, Soward had three Origin appearances for NSW and won a premiership with the St George Illawarra Dragons in 2010.
