We’ve compiled the average height of the players every club has used in 2017 to see which club, along with the tallest and shortest for your club.

Across the league, the average height of players in 2017 is 185.54cm (or 6 ft 1 in).

The Melbourne Storm have the tallest team in the league, with an average height of 187.99cm led by the tallest player in the league, Nelson Asofa-Solomona (200cm).

The North Queensland Cowboys come in as the second tallest team in the league, with an average height of 187.14cm led by Gavin Cooper (197cm), Kane Linnett (194cm) and Ethan Lowe (194cm).

At the other end of the scale, the Brisbane Broncos have an average height of just 184.55cm in 2017. Halves Kodi Nikorima (174cm) Anthony Milford (176cm) and Ben Hunt (178cm) are all well below the average height for an NRL player in 2017.

The Broncos two tallest players also happen to be outside backs Tautau Moga (194cm) and Corey Oates (192cm), with most other clubs featuring a number of forwards as their tallest.

The Melbourne Storm's above average height isn't just thanks to their towering forwards though, with even their shortest players taller than the average for other clubs.

Amazingly, the Manly Sea Eagles sit above the league average height for 2017 despite having two players sitting in the Top 10 shortest players list.
