Chambers charged for Origin hit

Storm centre Will Chambers has been charged for an incident in Game 1 of the Origin series at the MCG that threatens him missing his side's clash with the Broncos.

The Match Review Committee hit the 30-year old with a Grade One charged for kneeing Blues hooker Damien Cook in a tackle during the second half.

He can accept the charge and take a 90-point carry over, while challenging would risk a one-game suspension, which would force him to sit out this Sunday's game against the Broncos at AAMI Park.
