The Bulldogs have released a statement on Josh Reynolds following allegations of an incident on the weekend.

Reynolds was involved in an alleged verbal altercation with hotel staff at Northies Cronulla Hotel when he was asked to leave the venue due to intoxication.

Police were called to the scene and Reynolds could be charged with failing to quit a licensed premises.

Canterbury has confirmed in the statement that the club is investigating the allegations.

The club has also confirmed that the NRL Integrity Unit has been informed.

The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs wish to make the following statement in regard to Josh Reynolds:

"There have been allegations of an incident involving Josh Reynolds at the weekend.

"At this stage the club are investigating the details of these allegations.

The club have informed the Integrity Unit and will be offering no more comment at this stage."
