The Bulldogs have been forced to issue a statement addressing the future of five-eighth Josh Reynolds after continued speculation.

Off-contract at the end of the season, speculation has been rife that Reynolds is seeking a new deal worth $800K a season and that the Bulldogs are willing to let him walk.

Added to these rumours were additional reports that the St George Illawarra Dragons and Parramatta Eels were both interested in the former State of Origin half.

The Bulldogs statement claims the speculation is inaccurate and that the club is continuing contract negotiations with Reynolds and his management.
