A statement released today via the Maroons camp noted Dylan Napa is a chance to miss the weekend's game against NSW.

"Dylan has a small break in one of his wrist bones and we're providing treatment to give him every chance to play" read the media release via Queensland Maroons website.

The news comes as a blow to Queensland on the day where all the headlines have been around Fitler's selection drama's around dropping Mitchell. Napa sustained the injury on the weekend when tackled by multiple Roosters and despite finishing the game with 23 tackles and 10 runs is looming as a potential out for the weekend's grudge match.

Kevin Walters will give Napa every chance to prove his fitness and was tight lipped in front of the media today. This all comes as the news has broken over Dane Gagai being quarantined from other players due to a virus.

He too will be assessed and will look to overcome the illness after his heroics in Game I. His intercept try has handed the Maroons yet another shot at the Origin crown which has almost been a given over the past 14 years.

Queensland will manage both players over the course of the following days with a final call expected to happen later in the week. A loss of both will see a drastically different Origin side and a challenge for Walters to seal the victory in Game II.
