Brisbane forward Matt Lodge has reached a settlement with the US family at the centre of his New York rampage back in 2015.
In a press conference at 3pm, Lodge apologised to those affected, and told the media he would pay the settlement himself.
He did not disclose the settlement amount.
Matt Lodge and lawyers have been negotiating with his New York victims for a payout. NRL are happy with progress. Allowing Lodge to sign new deal. Understand Panthers etc were never a chance.
