Josh McCrone won't be the only new NRL signing for the Toronto Wolfpack next season, with winger Kalifa Faifai Loa set to join him.

7Sport are reporting that Faifai Loa will has been granted a release from his Dragons deal and will link up with the Wolfpack.

The Toronto Wolfpack are the first fully professional rugby league team in Canada and currently play in League 1 (the third tier of the English rugby league competition).

Although not official yet, it's also expected that Dragons teammate Josh McCrone will also make the move to the trans-atlantic club as they look to move up to the 2nd-tier next season.

The Wolfpack are currently coming first in their league, winning all 12 of their games so far and amassing an amazing +607 points differential in the process.

At the end of the season, the top five clubs advance to the playoffs. At the conclusion of the playoffs, two clubs are promoted to the Championship, which is the 2nd tier of the RFL.
